Is B-connex actually Australian-owned?
Yes. Built in Australia, billed in AUD, hosted with AU-region failover, and on a roadmap to Peppol e-invoicing for ATO-aligned billing.
Do I need to bring my own LinkedIn or email account?
Yes — you connect your own accounts via OAuth (LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook) or SMTP. Tokens are AES-encrypted at rest and never written to logs.
Will my Starter plan secretly burn GPT-4o credits?
No. Every plan includes a generous AI token allowance each month — Starter includes built-in AI at no extra cost, Growth uses OpenAI GPT-4o, Scale uses Anthropic Claude, and Enterprise unlocks Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) for full control. Spend is visible per org in the AI Usage console. You're never surprised by a bill.
Can I export my data?
Yes — full CSV exports of leads, campaigns and invoices, plus a REST API. No vendor lock-in.
What happens if I cancel?
Your account stays read-only for 30 days so you can export. After that we hard-delete per our privacy policy.
Is there really a free trial?
Yes — every plan (including Starter) starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to begin. At day 14 you'll be prompted to add a payment method; if you don't, the account moves to read-only export mode for 30 days before deletion.
How does tier-gating work?
Each plan unlocks a wider feature set: Starter includes the Sites builder (1 published site), core outreach, and built-in AI assistance; Growth adds AI-personalised sequence drafting and more integrations; Scale adds the locality heatmap, country-level audience drilldown, and Anthropic Claude; Enterprise is fully unlocked — BYOK LLM, self-host with SSO, Peppol e-invoicing, and unlimited seats. Enterprise clients also include a dedicated customer success contact.
Do you support GST-inclusive invoices?
Yes. Every invoice is generated in AUD with 10% GST itemised. Xero push and Peppol transmission are on the active roadmap.
Can I self-host?
Self-host is on the Enterprise tier with our installer. Smaller teams can run B-connex on their own VPS using the open Docker recipe.
